I’ll be going away for a 14-days trip to Việt Nam next Sunday.
I barely have one week to prepare for a 2-weeks long trip!
This is quite nutty but I’m looking forward to this long getaway nonetheless.

I’ve just came back last weekend after a 3D 2N getaway to the southern east side of Malaysia.
We stayed at Sebana Cove Golf and Marina Resort, or Sebana Cove in short.

www.sebanacovegolfmarinaresort.com

That was the third time I’ve been to that marina and finally get to stay there.
It was a good stay, just taking a real slow weekend, eating, resting, walking, swimming, and talking the time away.

And long before this (okay, less than 2 months before), I’ve visited Langkawi Island, Malaysia with a bigger group of peeps for a 5D 4N trip.
We stayed in Kuah Town and had explored the land quite a bit one a rent mini van, and found some really nice beaches when getting around the Island.
The sunsets we get there were beautiful, especially the one at Tanjung Rhu beach.
I’ve managed to try out their Canopy Adventure in one of their forest, parasailing at Pantai Cenang and snorkelling at Pulau Payar Marina Park.
We’ve visited mangrove swamp, island hopped around Kilim Geo Park, saw eagle feeding in the wild, touched and fed fishes (or weird creatures) at a small fish farm, etc.
Well, Langkawi is a beautiful place with many places we didn’t have time to visit.

WikiTravel on things you can do and etc at : Langkawi

I would love to update with all the pictures we’ve took but I really don’t know where to start!
This is quite bad as I haven’t even posted the photos from my first furthest trip to Cambodia last August, needless to mention those short trips to Desaru or Sungai Rengit, etc.
The places I’ve been to and the things I do in Singapore alone are already quite a bit to write about and I’m still procrastinating.

I’m thinking if I should just do up another blog just to write about my travels…
Gigabytes and more gigabytes of photographs are crying for my attentions already!
I will really need a hell lot of time to get down to and I feel so disorganized!

Anyway, like I’ve always said, some memories will just remain between the ears, in your mind.
I’ll use that line for some comfort for now before I get things done. Haha.

Other activities/events for the past month(s) :
- Cycling at ECP-CBP-ECP,
- Night Festival @ National Museum of Singapore,
- Meet-ups with the girlies,
- and caught quite a few movies now.

I can’t really recall everything and I’ve been pretty stressed up easily of late.
Even my lymph nodes at my neck are swelling again. ):
It a simple (and painful) sign of my health and immune system going down again.
I have 1 week to get well and get ready for this major trip in 2009.

I doubt I’ll be updating till I get back after mid of August or so (and I continue to procrastinate…)
These are my summary, a wordy one for now. Yuppos.

I’ll be back, just a matter of when. Haha.

And, in case you miss me...

(at Sebana one fine Saturday morning)

I'm just bumming around as much as I can.

(:

I'll be back. I'll be back. I'll be back.

Right. LOL.

Just give me some time. (:

Nope. I haven't and have no intention to 'abandon' my lil' diary.

I've just been rather busy, with work and everything else.
I've been out most of the time with plans lined up one after another.
I have lots of pictures from those gatherings and etc but I don't have much spare time to post them yet but I will when I do. (:

I should be in bed now, but just thought of dropping a few lines here.
I've been updating on Twitter more diligently, almost everyday, though my tweets are randomly "What are you doing now?" or "How are you feeling now?" kind of updates.
I'm still reluctant to set my updates public so that friends without an account can view too.

Anyhoos, I have some pictures taken at PlayTest #3 on 16th May, last Saturday.
It's a one-day event held at Media Centre and we were supposed to help out.

Sher and I at the event. (:

And those times when I conveniently don my specs to work with tired eyes...

Those are just some pics that I can manage for now.
I'd still think that I look different with and without those glasses. Haha.

The week seems to be ending pretty quick.
It's an ironic feeling.
Neither great great nor lousy lousy.
Most of the time, it's routine-ish.

Well well, I'll BRB!

On Mother's Day, 10th May, Sunday
The smile I see on her face, priceless. (: Happy Mummy's Day.

I bought her a stalk of carnation like what we used to do when we were much younger.
I placed it by her bedside secretly before I went to bed around 5-ish in the morning.
(:

We had the usual celebration plus her birthday celebration which will be on the 24th.

Mummy with Sis and me. (:

And everyone! Daddy didn't give that grumpy look here, at least.
I know he tried his best, for Mum. Hee.

Loved ones of my life, always. (:

Night by the River, 9th May, Saturday
I sat by the river for some good 3 hours at least I think.

I love to sit by the river/sea just spending some quiet time there, I don't know why.
I thought I could use the peace to clear my thoughts, but it ain't easy.
I tried but my mind was kinda blank-ish/jammed, but I felt emotional at some point.
Well, it's good to have such me-time like this once in a while.
Life is moving at a pace too hasty for me. Lo-fi is good.

The fresh stalk of carnation that I bought earlier before catching some me-time.
(:

Wolverine-ish Day @ Work, 6th May, Wednesday
Sher and I were asked to be some cameos in the video for our mag.

We have our very own, Wolverine!

The makeover and props ain't too bad, eh?
The video is up already by the way, which I thought was very well done up by our multimedia designer plus the writers' effort of coming up with the script of course.

For the record, Spageddies has uber awesome Tiramisu! YUMMY!
I love Tiramisu, very much.

Talking about that Tiramisu gives me the instant craving for it!
Anyway, I have a very simple and delicious home-cooked dinner by Mummy. (:
It's supposed to be her day and people usually take Mums out for a sumptuous dinner, but this is what we're used to, having anything as long as everyone in the house gathers together.
Now, that's most important to all of us. (:

Sis choose a monogram-ish Bonia bag + purse set for Mum.
She was beaming with joy and I could tell she loves the present we got for her.
I didn't get to see her reaction of the flower placed by her bedside secretly by me, but she spoke to me in a gentle, happy tone and a thank-you to me while I was still sleeping. (:
I managed a smile and a tired peek at her before I continue to sleep till 1-ish. Hee.

Dad was accommodating considering the fact that they had a heated argue just days ago.
We sang her birthday song, but I just don't have the courage to give her a kiss like how we used to when we were kids cos I feel so shy!
All in all, I can tell that she's happy and that's priceless.
They are the simplest people I know whom are contented with the littlest things.
I'm always contented easily in many ways which I believe it's in the genes.
I feel fortunate to have my dearest old parents in my life no matter what, really. (:

I'm all smiles from a happy happy occasion that the day has been.
It sure helps to take my mind of some unhappiness and all's good. Yup.
I'll embrace all the happiness I have.

Well well, Monday is here very soon.
It's time to slog it off at work!
It's time for me to prepare myself for a new week and the foreseen crunch period.
I even have to brood over 'what-to-wear' every night!

I be off now!

(:

It was a white white Sunday for me yesterday. (:
Or rather, I was in almost all white outfit and I simply love that color on me or anything. Ha.

The weather have been very very crazy of late, it's uber warm!
I always loved wearing shorts out but the weather is so warm that I feel uncomfy in them even!
The weather is driving me nuts, seriously.

I'm on a day off and I'm just gonna go slow before returning back in office tomorrow for some serious, mad, rush, truckload, nasty pile of work to get down to.
Why do I feel those work responsibilities crap even when I'm supposedly on leave?!
I needa get that workaholic outta me before I go crazy during my break. BAHHH.

Recently, I just feel like shutting out the world and do my own things.
There are just too many things going on around me, people text-ing me (which I conveniently ignore a lot of times), and my me-time being 'interrupted'.
I appreciate people who slow down with me and listen to my woes.
I like to slow down and listen to them too, cos it's a give and take. (:

A wise man just told me (okay, just a good friend who read this of somewhere as well, HA) that Life is a string of interwoven stories.
And I agree.
I'm feeling philosophical again at this point. Haha.
As much as I feel so, we all need to keep our feet on the ground and stay in touch with reality.
What I'm trying to say is that over thinking (which we all do very often) can be paralyzing too, so don't get lost in your own thoughts.
Now, that's another piece of my random rants. Hee.

Oh wells, so much for letting my mind rest.
I've been turning in late these days so it's time I adjust my body clock back soon.
I'm pretty much set to go out anytime but I'm still here, at home.
Maybe I'll just hang out for a while and be home for dinner in the evening.
Yups. (:

Slow down, slow down...

Labour Day, 1st May, Friday
I spent my break at home with my old old typewriter and went for a run in the evening.

I love to type on one, seriously.

It's kinda spoiled already but I managed to make it work.
Using it is like traveling back in time, how time flies and changes so many things, it makes me feel quite a bit, really.
I can't put the feelings down in words or I'll write an essay. Haha.

And then I decided to go out for a run, though my head was feeling heavy.

I brought my T100 along with me but I was a bit late for the sunset.
It was a good exercise after weeks of inactively.
The timing was just nice and the temperature was good.
I enjoyed the peace of the surrounding.

Marine Barrage, 23rd April, Thursday
It was my 2nd visit there this time.

Alert! Posers in the making! HA.

We were pretty crazy (though I was uber tired by then) that night when we reach there.
We raced up the long slope (it was my stupid idea, HUR, and we were panting like mad after that), trying to take clearest pictures possible without using the flash, posing with the timer set and using the rubbish bin as the stand, etc.
Did I mention that we took a wrong turn when getting there in Jim's car and it's "Oh take me back to the start..." (The Scientist by Coldplay was playing in the car when we return to square one.)
HURHUR.

A random cam-whoring moment in office
I was just trying to take more pictures of the right side of my face.

Dimply right side or the usual mole-ly left side, you say?
Okay, random enough now.

iPhoto Shoot, 14th April, Tuesday
The Apple peeps were down at MC Level 2 for some roadshow promotions and had a mini Easter Day photoshoot for free so Mr Ku accompanied me to get a few shots. Haha.

They also provided printing of the photos.
It's plain cam-whoring in a more pro way. LOL.
It could have been more fun taking with my teammates.

Sungai Rengit PART 2, 21st February
This is long overdue but don't you find this oh-so picture perfect? (:

This is one belated photo from Mr Ku and a uber happening video taken in the van when we all sang 'It's My Life' by Bon Jovi which I'm not gonna post. HA.

CK One Summer
I bought this some time ago and didn't use it, so I gave it to my dearest Sis.

(:

I've spent my Labour Day at home resting after a good night of delicious food and adequate booze with great company at Paulaner Brauhaus once again after work on Thursday.
It was a farewell dinner gathering for Mr. Chan and Mr. Ng for it's their last day of work.
I wish them all the best in their future endeavours. (:
As usual, pictures update when I get them.

Now, I'm spending my Saturday at home as well with Mummy. (:
I'm enjoying the me-time that I've been waiting for after 2 hectic weeks.

I've shifted my laptop, electric guitar and amp to the living, sitting right in front of the TV trying to multi-task for a few hours now. Woot!
There are many things I need to or wanna do but I'm cutting myself some slack here.
This is my long weekend till I get another one at the end of the month.

I'm gonna keep myself busy busy now.
Be back soon!
